Descrição

Bannerland

Bannerland is a small logistic-ish factory-ish fantasy-ish strategy game about drawing roads, building stuff, raising an army and claiming new territory under one very important banner.

Build roads, place camps and connect resources to your villages. Workers prepare nearby resources, while villagers carry them through your network, delivering them home or turning them into more useful stuff along the way.

Draw roads → build stuff → raise an army → claim new territory → unlock more stuff.
Simple as that.

Each new territory reveals more of the map and gives you new things to work with: new resources, buildings, units, enemies and ways to reshape the network you’ve already built.

The challenge is getting everything where it needs to go.

Your roads decide how resources and units move. Your buildings decide what happens to them along the way. And as the kingdom grows, the same network has to keep doing more and more.

There are also Dungeons, Improvements, different unit roles, upgrades and a few other things hiding further out in the Frontier.

Build stuff. Connect stuff. Unlock more stuff. Keep going.

Bannerland is still in active development, so feedback is very welcome.

AI disclosure: GitHub Copilot were used during development for coding assistance. The “art” is public icon libraries, and sound effects are literally just me making funny noises into a microphone.
Age rating: Recommended for ages 10+.

As you're still building this game, allow me to suggest that you tune up the "regeneration" of each boss according to how many bosses you've defeated so far, and tune down (or remove) the upgrades on villager creation and villager speed. This will driver the player into more interesting solutions, using villagers sourced from multiples villages simultaneously to defeat bosses. This would balance the challenge of the game and reward player creativity. Currently the game can be trivially solved with unit upgrades and single-line of rangers sourcing from a single village.

This game is fantastic, congratulations! Reminds me of old school "Knights and Merchants", with serfs carrying resources to different buildings through roads you must build yourself.
